AREAS OF PRACTICE:
Frank Tyson’s special areas of practice are estate planning, probate and trust administration, asset protection, elder law and litigation. His clients benefit from his decades of experience in those areas of law as well as from his experience in civil litigation, real estate, business and divorce matters. As a member of the Florida Bar he is a member of the following sections: Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, Elder Law, Business Law, Trial Lawyers and Family Law.
Frank has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1972 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1982. Other admissions include the U. S. District Court (South Florida) and the U. S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit in 1976, and the United States Supreme Court in 1997. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He enjoys an excellent reputation among his peers and clients. As a rated attorney with Martindale-Hubble, the prestigious peer review legal publisher, he holds a Distinguished Attorney rating. Frank also received a Client Approval Award from AVVO.
AN ATTORNEY FOR THE PEOPLE:
Frank delves into the facts of every client’s matter as he believes that every client has a unique situation and deserves custom made estate planning documents. It is his belief that more lawyers should educate their clients and practice preventive law, especially in the area of estate planning. That it is better for clients to plan well with appropriate estate planning and asset protection documents in order to avoid unnecessary legal problems, fully enjoy the fruits of their labors, and also preserve a legacy for their chosen heirs.
He was born and raised in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and the oldest of seven children. As captain of his high school swim team, and record holder for Pennsylvania and Middle Atlantic AAU region, he earned a place in the Upper Merion High School Sports Hall of Fame. As a High School All American he was awarded a full scholarship to The Ohio State University, where he was a member and pledge master of Beta Theta Pi and a member of the Varsity “O”. He attended and graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the International Law Society and the Proctor in Admiralty club. Frank lectures at local colleges and schools, and lives in Jupiter with his wife and daughter, a pre-law student and classical pianist.
